Our Story

Welcome to the beautiful Lowcountry of South Carolina in the United States. We are located in the southeastern part of the states, just north of Florida, enjoying beautiful sandy beaches and colorful sunsets.

We are a father-daughter team who have been serving as missionaries to Kenya since 2015. Initially, what helped us serve the Kurian tribe of Kehancha in southwest Kenya was our bike rental shop, Gracie’s Bike Rentals. We delivered beach bicycles up and down Hilton Head Island for two years with a percentage of our sales supporting our primary school, Gracie’s Academy. Known for the purple beach bicycles on the island, our mission was to provide a great product with the vision of making each person feel at home on the island with their bike rental. As a result, we were voted as the #1 bike rental shop on the island after our first business year.

Selling the bike rental shop led us to move to Kenya, serving the Kurian people of Kehancha full-time. Living in Kenya made us aware of the bamboo, sandalwood, ebony, amaranth, and other wood types used for agricultural purposes. Micro-furniture businesses line both sides of the dirt roads with men building and selling their beautiful wooden furniture creations. We were able to build The Mission House and furnish it with beautiful wooden furniture. The purpose of The Mission House is to serve missionaries and pastors worldwide as a training and conference center and a place for rest and restoration.

Mission Dollars at Work

We will donate 10% of all sales towards Phase II of constructing the second building for Gracie’s Academy in Kehancha. This building will contain classrooms for grade levels 5-8 using the same wood used to make our watches for your wearing enjoyment. Since its establishment in 2016, we have added a new grade level each year, intending to reach grade level 12.  We are now educating 200+ students and overdue in constructing the next building for the new school year. The ultimate goal is for each student to finish high school with an opportunity to go to university. You can help with your purchase of one of our watches!
